And how you calibrate Machine??
The machines arrives calibrated and ready to strip. The operation manual goes through the fine adjustments you can make to the cutting pressure by adjusting the top T-handles, but usually finding the proper size cutting channel is all that is necessary.
Which holes are you putting the wires???
How hard of rock will this go through? I understand it's for concrete, but does it carve into rock?
All the Bluerock Z1 drills and diamond core bits can drill through concrete, rebar reinforced concrete, asphalt, hard rock like granite, quartz, tile masonry. Many of our customers use this tool for ornamental granite drilling like kitchen counters, headstones, rock fountains, etc.

How do you set up the adjustments on the springs?
Hello Chuck- The top T-handles are adjustable. By spinning clockwise, the springs tighten and counterclockwise they would loosen the spring tension. Let use know if you have any additional questions.
@@Bluerocktools1 so I'm guessing the front left and right adjustment is for cutting depth and I'm not sure what the back two adjustments are for. Is that design to squeeze the wire and actually separate the wire from the insulation?
@@chuckanderson3418 They're all for spring tension / cutting depth. This is a duel assembly cutting machine so there is a cutting rolling channel on top and bottom x 2 front and back. Give us a call on Monday if you have additional questions and want to chat more in depth. We also have an exploded parts diagram on the site as well as a blade change service manual that show the inner working of the machine that may assist understanding how the machine works.

Will this do the coax cable?
Hello Jason. These type of stripping machines are not really designed to cut coax. The inner material is too soft and causes it to crush more than strip. Not ideal. Let us know if you have any additional questions or concerns.

Hello- There are many types of SWA type cables, so can't say for certain that this will strip your specific type. Generally, this cables outer jacket is a round multiconductor. You'd strip the outer jacket off first, then run the individual wires through. If you have a lot of an actual triangular cable outer jacket, you'd probably want to send us a piece for testing and we can report back. Let us know if you have any additional questions.

will it strip URD AL cable as well?
It can strip individual conductors of URD wire up to 2-1/4" diameter. It cannot strip a triplex of 3 conductors fused together, those must first be separated.
